A Peek into My Christmas

December 28 , 2011 by: Hong Family, Food, Holiday

Wow! This past week has been a whirlwind! My intentions were to post much more than I did this month but as my full time gig dictated a little more of my time, all you get is a peek into how I spent Christmas. Again, The Geek and I happily hosted our family and friends. We opted for a Christmas Brunch which worked out really well as our home’s sit down capacity doesn’t accommodate 30 people. It was wonderful to see, hear, and feel Christmas! One of my favorite moments was after brunch when the kids wanted to open their gifts. Of course, all hell broke loose at that point. With 12 kids in all, each one had an average of 5 gifts and they all opened their gifts in less than 10 minutes. It was awesome!

Our little family had the morning to open up Santa’s gifts and parent gifts. That’s Aidan in awe of his bow and arrow, courtesy of his grandmother. And yes, that’s me enjoying my eye cream!

The Geek received a stand mixer and I received a food processor! How things have changed in our relationship!

We both LOVED our gifts.

Here’s to another memorable Christmas and looking forward to Fabulous Year!
