Kitchen Aid: Kitchen Tested

December 30 , 2011 by: Hong Favorites, Food, Holiday

As you all know, I gifted The Geek a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for Christmas. Honestly, I purchased it for both of us, and bless his heart he allowed me the honors of devirginizing it.

My first recipe is a remake of an old classic: cranberry chocolate chip bars!I’m not sure how I’ve been able to live my life up until this point. I LOVE this thing!

It is so easy to use and not to mention so quick!

The recipe was adapted from here, just add 1/2 cup of dried cranberries and voila! Bon Apetite!

The Geek and I are headed to Port Ludlow to spend some time with my sister and her husband for New Year’s. We’re ending the year with a hike here. I’ll be sure to post some photos!

Until then… Have a Happy New Year!

  • Both the machine and the product look delicious! Is that a glass jar with milk along with the cranberry bars? Perfect! The thing that stumps me about getting a stand mixer (in some wonderful color!) is a storage solution. Where do you keep yours? Or is constantly out and ready for use? 🙂
