Last Day of 2011

December 31 , 2011 by: Hong Family, Places, Weekend

To commemorate 2011, The Geek, Thuha, Justin and I went on a short hike near Lake Crescent. The Geek and I initially had a 9 mile hike in mind but that meant a 6 hour round trip drive. We didn’t want to spend a majority of last day of 2011 in a car. This was perfect as we had no rain and the trail was nearly empty. We even smuggled in our four legged friend, Coco.

And, at the end of the trail was one gorgeous waterfall. I’m such a sucker for waterfalls!I also loved all the rich colors and textures that are found so naturally all around us.It was a great way to say goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012!

Happy New Year and may 2012 bring you Love, Peace, Joy, and Good Health!
