Seattle Urban Living

January 18 , 2012 by: Hong Favorites, Home, Places

One thing that sold us on our house was it’s location. Our back yard is quintessential of the Pacific Northwest. This week, Mother Nature and Old Man Winter partnered up to give us a little Winter Wonderland. The Geek and I went for a little hike today through this beautiful park. It’s entrance is just a hop, skip and a jump away from our front door. The boys have also participated in a Salmon release program at this park in an effort to revitalize (not to mention the educational benefits) it’s ecosystem.Love the pop of red. And of course at the end of the hike was something we absolutely love about Seattle, it’s great little neighborhood bakeries and restaurants. Now, this is my kind of urban living!
